LesterPic1

I was born in Cuba and came over to the U.S when I was still a young pup.  Graffiti and art led me into tattooing, where I eventually ended up at Inksmith and Rogers in Jacksonville, Florida.  After doing a few guest spots here, I came to work here permanently in 2011.  I do it all, and just enjoy tattooing.  Though versatility is certainly a strong suit of mine, I tend to do a lot of Japanese style work and do plenty of large scale work as well.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING
Super clean, professional and friendly. I had a small piece done over a year ago and couldnt be happier.  The artist (who's name I'm totally drawing a blank on, my apologies) was great and while I'm sure he enjoys working on larger, more artistically creative pieces, made me feel comfortable and that my forearm's colorful pansy was just as important as some massive tattoo! Of Note:  I asked around the Nola area for months and even people with work done elsewhere all recommended Electric Ladyland Tattoo.  Also, my artist was so great, I was in zero discomfort.  At one point I was literally checked work emails with my other hand!
Yelp Review
My husband and I were vacationing in New Orleans and decided to celebrate 10/11/12 by getting our first tattoos! We walked into the shop and immediately felt comfortable. We are both in our 60's so it is quite the compliment for them to put us at ease about getting our first tattoos. Our artist was Neil and he listened to what we wanted, and where we wanted it. After he made the stencil, he still took mor time to review the design and placement with us. He was very professional and friendly. The price was very reasonable and we are both very pleased with the results.
Yelp Review

Ed Dieringer is a great artist and ELT is an incredible studio. I had a chance to talk extensively with both Annette and Ed and they are professionals in a line of business that is filled with amateurs.

Yelp Review
This place is so awesome.  My boyfriend went in to update his tattoo during Jazz Fest.  They made a time for him so we wouldn't miss any of the festival.  He gave them a $50.00 dep and the next morning he decided that being in the hot sun sweating would not be good for a new tattoo. He called them up to cancel the appointment not expecting his deposit back but without any hesitation they refunded him the $50.00.  How cool is that. Going around New Orleans we asked everyone local that had tats who they used and 99% of them said Electric Landyland Tattoo was the ONLY place to go!
Yelp Review
New Orleaner at heart I decided to get some more ink done this visit.  After a few beers and a Po Boy in the park I stopped into Electric Ladyland and me with Ed over a design idea.  Having freakishly weird similarities in our lives we hit it off great in an unpretentious setting with pretty cool staff.  A few hours later I was sitting in his room getting absolutely great artwork.  For natives and travelers alike I highly recommend Electric Ladyland for ink and or piercings.  Thumb through the artist portfolios to find an artist who matches your eye for design.
Yelp Review
Friend had recommended Scott at Electric Ladyland.  Came from north Mississippi for the purpose of getting a tattoo done.  I was extremely impressed with the facility as well as the professionalism, accessibility, and creativity of the staff and in no time felt as though I had known them for a very long time.  Scott Barbier was superb and a true artist.  Will continue to use Electric Ladyland and Scott exclusively for additional work I am wanting to have done. -Todd
