CamPic
I am the youngest member of the crew here at Elt. Having been through three apprenticeships prior, I was discovered by Paco Rollins in late 2005. Determined to get as close to a classic taught apprenticeship, I persistently sought out opportunity after opportunity and finally got a big break working under Ernie Gosnell at Lucky Devil South. After completing five hard solid years of apprenticeship and tattooing under him, I came here all the way from the evergreen state and the city of Seattle to seek new sights and more experience. I come from a strong background in comic book illustration and animation as well as traditional tattooing. I have also learned under a well respected sign painter, which has given me a strong foundation in hand drawn lettering. I have been tattooing for almost seven years and have been involved in the industry for almost ten. I am a second generation tattooer, and do my best to better myself and everyone around me.I am always up for any challenge to broaden my knowledge, and am always striving to get better. I spend an obscene amount of my free time painting and expanding my art education.

Yelp Review
Just wanted to say that I enjoyed my visit to your shop last April on our trip to NOLA, I had made it a point to get a tatoo in your city. Ed did my Olde English "D" and Detroit background and it turned out great. I get many compliments on it. I will return for another on my next trip to your great city, I only hope it isn't too long before that happens. Thanks from a satisfied customer.

New Orleaner at heart I decided to get some more ink done this visit.  After a few beers and a Po Boy in the park I stopped into Electric Ladyland and me with Ed over a design idea.  Having freakishly weird similarities in our lives we hit it off great in an unpretentious setting with pretty cool staff.  A few hours later I was sitting in his room getting absolutely great artwork.  For natives and travelers alike I highly recommend Electric Ladyland for ink and or piercings.  Thumb through the artist portfolios to find an artist who matches your eye for design.
Yelp Review
Friend had recommended Scott at Electric Ladyland.  Came from north Mississippi for the purpose of getting a tattoo done.  I was extremely impressed with the facility as well as the professionalism, accessibility, and creativity of the staff and in no time felt as though I had known them for a very long time.  Scott Barbier was superb and a true artist.  Will continue to use Electric Ladyland and Scott exclusively for additional work I am wanting to have done. -Todd
Yelp Review
Super clean, professional and friendly. I had a small piece done over a year ago and couldnt be happier.  The artist (who's name I'm totally drawing a blank on, my apologies) was great and while I'm sure he enjoys working on larger, more artistically creative pieces, made me feel comfortable and that my forearm's colorful pansy was just as important as some massive tattoo! Of Note:  I asked around the Nola area for months and even people with work done elsewhere all recommended Electric Ladyland Tattoo.  Also, my artist was so great, I was in zero discomfort.  At one point I was literally checked work emails with my other hand!
