moPic

My name is Monique and I have been piercing professionally since 2007.  I am from Los Angeles originally and piercing at Electric Ladyland since May 2011.  Piercing is my passion.  In fact, it’s all I do!  I’m not a tattoo apprentice or tattoo artist.  I am dedicated to giving my clients the safest, gentlest piercing possible.  I am also active in the piercing community, constantly learing and sharing information with my peers to stay current on proper aseptic technique, piercing placement, and more.  I am also up to date with my CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certifications.

I offer a wide range of piercing services here from a simple earlobe piercing to advanced body piercings.  In addition to giving you the safest piercing experience, we want you to leave with something that looks great on you wearing the best jewelry available.  Your jewelry will be made of materials that meet the same implantation standards set for items that are used in surgeries.  We only use the best out there from companies like Industrial Strength, Anatometal, BVLA, and Neometal and all of your piercing jewelry is made in the USA.

Everything used during the piercing (gloves, gauze, sharp, and jewelry) is sterile, and is handled to ensure it stays that way.  Because of the care and precautions taken during your piercing,  the aftercare we suggest is simple and gentle.  We do not recommend the use of harsh chemicals while healing your piercing.  After you are pierced here, I will always be happy to answer any questions you may have about your piercing.  You are always welcome to call or come in for a consultation.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING
This place is so awesome.  My boyfriend went in to update his tattoo during Jazz Fest.  They made a time for him so we wouldn't miss any of the festival.  He gave them a $50.00 dep and the next morning he decided that being in the hot sun sweating would not be good for a new tattoo. He called them up to cancel the appointment not expecting his deposit back but without any hesitation they refunded him the $50.00.  How cool is that. Going around New Orleans we asked everyone local that had tats who they used and 99% of them said Electric Landyland Tattoo was the ONLY place to go!
Yelp Review

Yelp Review
My husband had researched NOLA tattoo shops before our trip there. He chose this place, so I we went with it. Best decision ever. Loved the shop. Loved the people. My husband got a new piece on his chest which was exactly what he envisioned, from Neil. I got an older piece revamped. Matty exceeded my expectations with the work on mine. Very happy with both results.
Yelp Review

Ed Dieringer is a great artist and ELT is an incredible studio. I had a chance to talk extensively with both Annette and Ed and they are professionals in a line of business that is filled with amateurs.

Yelp Review
New Orleaner at heart I decided to get some more ink done this visit.  After a few beers and a Po Boy in the park I stopped into Electric Ladyland and me with Ed over a design idea.  Having freakishly weird similarities in our lives we hit it off great in an unpretentious setting with pretty cool staff.  A few hours later I was sitting in his room getting absolutely great artwork.  For natives and travelers alike I highly recommend Electric Ladyland for ink and or piercings.  Thumb through the artist portfolios to find an artist who matches your eye for design.
Yelp Review
Friend had recommended Scott at Electric Ladyland.  Came from north Mississippi for the purpose of getting a tattoo done.  I was extremely impressed with the facility as well as the professionalism, accessibility, and creativity of the staff and in no time felt as though I had known them for a very long time.  Scott Barbier was superb and a true artist.  Will continue to use Electric Ladyland and Scott exclusively for additional work I am wanting to have done. -Todd
